This is the background for the four books associated with this book marker.
The Twilight Series belonged to a girl named Brianna. Brianna was so involved with the Twilight Series that it became a concern of her mother, Tamara. She suspected Brianna was practicing magick and actually trying to conjure the characters or "supernatural powers" relating to the stories. Magickal things began to happen. Luck followed Brianna wherever she went. Her mother sensed spirits in the house and had visions of groups of people in different rooms of her house. She also heard the words of the book whispered in her ear at night. Brianna read the books many times and kept one of the books with her most of the day and slept with them all at night. When Brianna was getting ready to move out, her bedroom was in chaos, and her mother had the opportunity to grab and hide the books.
Since the family live in our local area, Tamara is well aware that we accept magickal items. She brought us the books because she's frightened to have them in her house. The first thing our staff did was track down Brianna since she is over 18 by then, and they were her books. We couldn't accept them as they were presented to us. Brianna very reluctantly told us we could keep them for resale. I was planning to keep them myself since I'm a Twilight fan. When I expressed this to Brianna, she said they should go to another - someone who needs love and fantasy, the way she did as a teen. She said they helped her through the darkest times of her life, and they cured her. I can feel the amazing energy the project so I agreed to "find them a home".
We've had them in our possession for a very short while but staff, family, and friends have handled and even read some of them. People who handle them and read them have varying reactions. some are frightened or "freaked out". Others experience intense psychic dreams, followed by luck in love and money. Two people had positive visions, and one heard whispering but couldn't make it out. There is definitely strong energy coming from them.
Brianna said the books are permanently enchanted. She wouldn't divulge her method of enchantment, but she said they could do incredible things.
January 2019 Update -
After the books were in our possession for about three months, Brianna contacted us and asked for them back. She said she wasn't ready to part with them and needed them to accomplish an important goal and get to the bottom of a deep mystery. She visited us on New Year's and returned them to us, saying they're ready to move on and so is she.
Her message for the next owners ~
Trust the books, always. Trust your dreams and visions. Trust the whispers. The spirits behind the books won't deceive you. And nobody else can with them at your side.
Her updated instructions ~
"Bond with the books by keeping them close you for several weeks. Keep them in your backpack or under your bed. A place where your energy is high. It's not necessary to read them, but it helps to bond more quickly with them if you read them once. When you make a request, make it very clear and be patient. You could write wishes on paper and put them in the pages of the books. You could also put flowers, locks of hair, gems or pieces of jewelry in them. Pay close attention to dreams and messages. The books are attuned to different things, and the spirits behind them have different talents. Pick the books you're drawn to, and be careful not to allow others to handle them too much after your energy is imprinted on them. They're truly amazing. You'll find that out!
